Nice!

I’m not sure about the set_default … maybe something like:

configatron.name :default => “MB”

configatron.name= “whatever”

woulb be a shortcut for:

configatron.name :value => “whatever”

and if you wanted to protect it:

configatron.name :value => “whatever”, :protect => true

You definitely need DB storage for this. This would allow administratively-editable settings in your application that persist across deployments. Some settings shouldn’t be changed, for sure, but some should be editable by the user within the application.

Configatron just became PERFECT. Awesome man, I’ll definitely use it in my next project!
